"I try to rustgrip every piece of steel I can, because it really helps us save time and money on maintenance. Once I rustgrip something I do not have to worry about it again. We love your product and we are always trying to make our job easier, and this is one less thing we have to worry about once it is on. The pictures with the rusted, pitted rams are from 2019, where we took them off the aframe, removed the rust, applied the rustgrip and painted them with a one part polyurethane paint."

"We also coated the roof of the engine room with Super Therm to reduce heat and sound transfer to the upper living quarters. "Have carried out the surface temperature measurement as per given instruction. Temp. Instrument used - IR thermometer (as the most handy)"

Three decks coated with different paint have been measured at 13.00hrs on surfaces exposed to direct sunlight and the readings are as follow:

According to your request please find the following:

Outside temp 34°C

1. Red standard paint (ship’s port wing) – 56.4°C
2. Monkey island standard white paint – 44.6°C/40.3°C underneath surface from bridge compartment
3. Super Therm paint (above C/E cabin) – 42°C/28.3°C underneath surface from C/E cabin
Our Observations:
Although only D-deck and C-deck tops have been coated with SuperTherm there is a significant temp. difference in the cabins, which are fully exposed to sunlight. It would be better effect of course if such product could be used on accommodation bulkheads too. In my personal opinion it was a right decision to apply such H-Tech coat.

Andrzej Katkowski, Vela International Marine - Dubai UAE

"Further to our discussion, this letter will confirm the occurrences in Kirkland, Quebec, at our existing twin sheet ice arena. In October of 1998 we applied 177.8 dry microns of Super Therm ceramic insulation coating to the exterior of our stress skin metal building. Everyone in Kirkland was skeptical that the product would insulate the building due to the harsh climate. After two years of operations I was convinced to insulate the building with standard insulation to see if the hydro and gas costs would be reduced. The building has now been in operation for a further two years and I can tell you that the hydro and gas bill did not change at all. The application of $30,000 of additional insulation did nothing. This of course re-affirmed my faith in your product and I have decided to use it on our Surrey expansion and all other future ice arena development.

Kirk E. Fisher P.eng Lark Group - Canada

I extend my personal thanks and appreciation for your support of the Air Force Renewable Energy Symposium in Tucson on June 28 and 29th. The Air Force is committed to be a leader in developing and using renewable energy to support our mission and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. We can only meet this objective with the involvement and support of a wide range of government, regulatory and renewable industry leadership. Your presentation on Innovative Use of Ceramic Coatings to Alter the Approach to Building Heat Gain was very informative and valuable to our efforts."

ASTM D5894 - Blistering and Rusting Evaluation
5000 Hours of Exposure in Ultraviolet and Salt-Spray Chambers

Three coupons coated with Rust Grip plus Enamo Grip coating were tested according to ASTM D5894 for 5000 hours of exposure. The average dry film thickness of the coating on the coupon was 355.6 microns.
The coating system shows no signs of blistering after 5000 hours of exposure. Some blistering is noted on the edges of the two coupons; however this is deit to the edge effect and not due to the deficiency in the coating. The UV radiation causes discoloration of the coating but does not affect its corrosion resistance characteristics. The coating system does not show any sign of rusting after 5000 hours of testing. Therefore, it is concluded that the coating has excellent corrosion resistance characteristics with a rating of 10 as per ASTM D610.

Letters of Recommendation

"Its been a year since the application of special coating of  1st & 2nd Coat: (Spray) Rust Grip & 3rd Coat (spray) Enamo Grip , the overall results of protection against environmental corrosion by the coatings is very good."

Qatar Navigation - Metal Work Boats - Doha, Qatar - Capt. Frazier Pinto

The second job, performed by a local application team at Saipem's Port Hardcourt base, involved the application of a corrosion prevention system on drilling riser pipe. As you may know, offshore oil drilling is one of the most exacting environments on machinery and equipment. The three coat system, composed of Rust Grip, Moist Metal Grip, and pigmented Enamo Grip products, had been advised by Advocate technicians to meet our requirements for a long-lasting coating system suitable for use underwater and periodically subject to weathering on deck.

In both cases, our application teams were impressed with the quality of the coatings and the level of service and attention provided by your field personnel.

We are currently ordering from your company additional products to apply the above mentioned corrosion prevention system on the remainder of the subsea pipes that are scheduled for re-coating by the end of the year.

We look forward to make further use of your products and services in the near future.

SAIPEM, Marcello Vairetti, Drilling Assets and Equipment Manager

Positive results with the above led us to try Rust Grip Super Therm and Enamo Grip on our nitrogen tanks for protection against the elements on offshore rigs. Results to date have been successful. We have recently commissioned 2 new 500-barrel frac tanks, treated internally with Rust Grip and Lining Kote and externally Rust Grip and Enamo Grip.

The same coating system is currently being used on our new LGC Tanker and we envisage continuing to use these products.

Halliburton Australia PTY LTD, Andy Dewar, Operations Manager

The product Enamo Grip, submitted for evaluation as a Type II, permanent anti-graffiti coating, has passed testing and is approved for use on departmental projects.

    Technical Data

    Description

HPC uses a special acrylic resin blend with non-conductive ceramic compounds to control heat transfer on surface up to 482°C. It is water-borne, non-flammable, non-toxic, and extremely lightweight in appearance.

    Application

HPC can be applied to metal, concrete, wood and other substrates. HPC can be applied directly to hot surfaces using a texture sprayer. If applied outdoors, HPC requires a top coat of Super Therm or Rust Grip.

    Physical Data
    • Solids: By weight: 50.49% / By volume: 73.00%
    • Dry time: 10-30 min, between 93.3°C-148.8°C, or until steaming action has finished
    • Weight: 5.0 lbs per gallon
    • Vehicle: Urethane / Acrylic Blend

Some blistering is noted on the edges of the two coupons, however, this is due to the edge effect and not due to a deficiency in the coating.

    Letters of Recommendation

"The first job, concerning the thermal insulation of a series of steam piping manifolds on board the ship was carried by means of the products named HPC and Super Therm. The job was performed by Saipem’s crewmen, after a few hours of training by your supervisor. I am glad to report that the people on board are very satisfied with the result, that has been achieved in a very short time compared to conventional system based on rockwool and aluminum sheets."

Saipem – Italy – Marcello Vairetti

"Additionally, we used 3mm of Hot Pipe Coating to reduce the surface temperature of the hot pipes running throughout the engine room. Hot Pipe Coating have done exactly what you promised, and continue to perform under extreme marine environments."
