Project Description

The three-story Blue Chip Casino located in Michigan City, Indiana, is the largest US Coast Guard approved casino vessel ever built in US. Cost of Construction was budgeted at : $163 Million.

Coating Solution

The potentially rusty surfaces were power-washed at approximately 3,500 psi and then primed with RUST GRIP. NO SANDBLASTING REQUIRED.

Underwater coating system – exterior hull
Primer – RUST GRIP permanent corrosion control
Top coat – MOIST METAL GRIP additional corrosion control to face the water and submersion.

Above water coating system – walls, flooring, ceilings, supports & hull for both exterior & interior
Primer – RUST GRIP permanent corrosion control
Base – SUPER THERM moisture impervious Insulation
Finish – ENAMO GRIP in an off white for colour, gloss and low maintenance
Detailing – ENAMO GRIP stripes in colour.

Interior coating system – Walls, ceilings, flooring over all metal surfaces
Primer – RUST GRIP permanent corrosion control
Base – SUPER THERM moisture impervious Insulation
Finish – ENAMO GRIP for colour, gloss and low maintenance
